Just had a phone call from HMRC fraud officer call me and tell me that I had committed tax fraud! He then asked if id like more details When? When I refused to tell him anything or give him answers, he replied with "fuck off then Idiot" Be aware people!

Answered phone to automated message telling me it was a genuine call but nothing else. Not sure who from, although on line searches suggest it is Hotpoint tumble dryers - which I have been waiting for for 6 months! After hearing that message 5 times the line went dead.
SCAM - 2 calls within a couple of minutes ro my fixed line - which should be TPS protected - have had to block! Sick of all these rotten scammers!
Missed call
They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. They said that he needed to transfer ?11,000 from another account to sort out the problem and he would give the details of the account that he needed to transfer the money to. Call regarding mobility, explained I was in the tps caller kindly explained how they are able to call on tps because i completed market research for them, spoke about my mothers mobility troubles and they came to see us today about a bath lift so she can bathe independently again for the first time in 3 years, my advice is to let somebody speak before you judge who it is, they have a job to do the same as everyone else and I was dealt with fantastically
