I picked up the phone and spoke and the line went dead. 10 digit no. not the usual 11 digits.

Indian/Pakistan type accent reporting to be from BT stating my internet was to be cut off due to malicious activity. Wanted me to access my computer. Best bit was when he said "Do me a favor and sit in front of your computer..." just before I hung up.

Scam: Sent an sms saying to get in touch with them as they have details regarding our PPI claim (we have no ppi claim)
This is the 2nd call i got in as many days. Its a young girls voice telling me they have been informed i was in a traffic accident. The penny dropped on the 2nd call that it s a very clever RECORDING of a girl!!! This is a first for me and I am 100% sure it wasn t a real person but it does sound convincing. The long pauses and style of speaking gave it away. BLOCK THIS NUMBER.
Had a call in a fake Oz accent asking if Mr Coombs was there and wanted to buy a dingo!
