This number has been making numerous calls today before 8am. It alternates with a private caller saying they are from Virginmedia. I have checked with the company who have no record of any calls being made to me. Annoying maybe dangerous.

Called me a few minutes ago today to offer me a deal regarding my debt management plan. I told them (truthfully) that I am ill and asked them to call back another time (which was generous as my debt management plan is working very well, and I didn t need to talk to them at all). It's a scam. An automated voice advises your Amazon Prime is about to be renewed (we have Prime but it's not due for renewal for many months) and to press 1 to speak to an advisor. This scam has been widely reported in the press, do not press 1, just hang up or better yet, don't pick up at all.

Pushy telemarketer offering a cheaper monthly top up deal. Didn t like it when I was concerned that they might not be from EE and didn t want their offer.
Fraud ...saying there has been a payee added to your account at LLOYDS bank. Gives a link to LLOYDS when you call the number it goes straight to the answering machine. Sent them a text saying their number was with the police and blocked them.
Silent call, no person spoke and then the call was ended.

Call this morning around 11 am
Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

SCAM A male stated he was calling from HMRC regarding a warrant issued against me for no m=payment aof a debt and if I didn't press 1 on the phone in the next few seconds I would be visited by police and arrested - This is 100% SCAM and a fraudulent attempt to extort money. Make sure any elderly people you know are made aware of this scam, it could easily frighten them into paying vast sums to this criminal fraudster

This a an alarm monitoring company, I had 4 calls between 2.30 and 3.00 am but didn t hear the phone downstairs, got to work to find alarm had triggered during the night due to a sensor fault.
