Caller pretending to be from HMRC giving you a number that you need to contact them back on. SCAM!!!
30 Oct 2021 - Call received to my mobile from woman with strong south Asian accent claiming to be from Royal Mail and saying that they are holding a parcel for me at their depot. Asked me if I would like them to text me the details and I said no thank you and hung up Reply

Just had a very rude call from this number, claiming to be from a housing repair company. I said I was renting and they said that's why they were calling. I asked where they were calling from then they called me 'stupid' and hung up haha. Mad!
This number sent me a text telling me that I had a missed call from them. It was in exactly the same format as the texts I receive when I genuinely miss a call. However when I checked my call log there was no missed call, they had just sent me the text. I presume they get loads of call backs from people due to this. How unscrupulous. Called me a few minutes ago today to offer me a deal regarding my debt management plan. I told them (truthfully) that I am ill and asked them to call back another time (which was generous as my debt management plan is working very well, and I didn t need to talk to them at all).
