my Mobile rang and I said hello but no answer, therefore it is a scam number as to keep you locked into a call when someone does eventualy answer with silly things like washing machine warenties, ppi, Holiday events etc

I was called from this number - it was an automated recording saying I had been signed up for Amazon Prime for £99.99 and to press #1. I hung up and checked my Amazon account - surprisingly enough I am not, and never have been, signed up for Amazon Prime - think it may be a scam!!
Anonymous caller just said hello,hung up.
