Got a call from 01564634905. The operator said he worked for UK Debt Solutions, it was a bit difficult to understand him because of his Indian like accent and I was right next to some factories thrumming away. He was polite, he said he was part of a government scheme to reduce debt.and my details were on some sort of database, which is entirely possible. I said it was pretty much under control now, (which is true), and the call ended cordially. From Lapworth, couldn't find anything on an online

Fraud - automated voice saying someone is trying to take money from your account. Press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Either way it will put you through to a "operator" who will them try and get you bank details from you. Thankfully my father was wise enough to terminate the call.
Fraud Call from "Visa Fraud Department" - automated message claiming a number of suspicious purchases have been made, inviting me to press 1 to talk to a totally legitimate human....
Keep ringing. 3 times this afternoon. Just change numbers if you block them. All from Reading.

SCAM The caller said he was from O2. The number showed as coming from Bodmin. I asked him where he was. He replied, 'I'm in my office.' 'Where's your office?' I asked. 'London,' he said. Gotcha!
