HMRC Fraud Scam. Automated voice telling me HMRC had opened a fraud case against me. YAWN. Blocked the number.

Silent call
Answered the phone and got a recorded message (male, English voice) "our records indicate that you were injured in an accident within the last three years, press 5 to speak to an operator". I pressed 5 and initially heard an office environment then was cut off. On ringing back, I heard the ringing tone but it almost instantly changed to an engaged tone. Don t know who this company is, but they need stopping.
The recorded message said it was from BT and said they were about to disconnect my phone and internet as there were suspicious activity. Dial 1 to speak to ? Hung up at this point

Automated call to inform me that there has been fraudulent use of my national insurance no! Told to press 1 to stop my ins no! From being investigated and deleted?????????? Yet another telephone scam. I am getting these types of calls on a daily basis. You would think in this age of technical marvels these type of calls and the people behind them would be stopped. Surely there is a way these telephone scams can be investigated especially when there is a telephone no visible with the calls. Be aware this is
