TAXES / HMRC obvious scam
SCAM - threat to disconnnect from Internet - please press 1 etc. If you get this call just put the phone down.
Pretending to be HMRC and noticing me that there is a tax evasion case on my name. Then the operator asks for my name. It is obviously a SCAM! I did not give them any personal details and she hung up. I also didn't call back. Be careful and alert!

number called me today, said "Wrong number" and hung up. I called them back and spoke to a guy who said they were from "Lifestyle". I told him what happened and he hung up on me.
A recorded voice called my work phone and told me "that I had not paid my Tax. There was a warrant for my arrest. I should press 1 immediately or the Police would come and arrest me" gave a tone for me to dial. I was then called by a Mobile number 07418 600607 where a guy tried to tell me the same thing but I hung up.

I m averaging two cals a day from these callers with heavy indian accents variously called Mike Smith, Kevin and Dave they say they are from Surrey and want me to get on my computer because it has been infected with malicious software, and my virus protectin has been compromised. I asked for their number and got this 01905 number. Avoid like the plague.

SCAM Claimed to be from National Crime Agency. Claimed my details were given to them by HMRC over fraudulent use of my NI. Wanted my details including last 3 digits of NI. Was evasive when questioned. Hung up on me
