They say they are calling from PC World and Curry's currently had 8 phone calls from them, sounds like a scam.

These partners in crime sell, donation bin computer and charity computers with pirated software installed with spy bots they use to probe around your computer and then later holds your computer for ransom, stating that you have pirated software and Police will be involved unless you conform to pay a large fee in the thousands in order not to serve prison time.. Picked up and they hung up straight away.
Silent call. Then rings off.
Caller said my 24 month service contract on washing machine had expired. When I informed him I didn't have one he said "so you won't want to renew" and hung up.
Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?
DO NOT ANSWER! Marketing company who want you to complete surveys. Repeatedly calling me and harassing me at work!
