Claimed to be the NAS (national advice service) asked if I had worked in an industrial enviroment, said no the girl on the end of the phone said "oh ok and hung up" total cold calling spammers. Also on YELL.com the phone number appears to belong to Your Claim Lawyers 120 Bark St, Bolton, Lancashire, BL1 2AX.
Thankfully I had misread the number and wondered if it was another scam call so I waited for the other to speak first. There was no response and the call was ended. After checking online (on other sites), I have now blocked this number.

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. Calling me while I am abroad means I pay a reception charge which is totally unfair. its the usual an automated service regarding some insurance or such. i wish i could block it, called me about 5 times now and when i dont hear phone it goes to voicemail and i get charged. no morals.

This number rang me. When I answered it was a recorded message saying I had phoned them! And to leave a message. I was more than willing to leave a message telling them not to ring me but their mailbox was full! Iperhaps they are trying a different tack by creating nuisance calls to then ring you offering a services to get rid of them. Highly suspicious!

Man phoned claimed to be from UK today, although a quick Google search nothing came up. Unusual as it's a bank holiday Monday.. asked for 30 seconds of my time.. asked if I was a home owner, and what age bracket I fell in.. 30 seconds were up so I hung up

Received call from this number with a recorded voice claiming to be from "bank fraud department" stating that large amount of money has been taken from my account. I have since checked the number and it appears to be a legitimate local school number. However, the received scam call was recorded on my phone as being from this number.
