Caller stated they were from virgin media and there was corruption on my router, they stated they would disconnect my internet due to the corruption if i didnt let them help me fix it. I have since called virgin media who confirms they have not called me

SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.

I got a call from this number saying they from Curry pc world. They are giving unnatural offers on phones and sim cards. Too good to be true. I didn't go forward with the offer but I believe its a scam.
01877 is the local code for my village when I answered the call it was a recorded message from Amazon Prime. Was this a scam call? Could be dangerous.
Similar number to yesterday 0151453 5321said t was new service from Amazon hung up. Similar numer rang today 0151453 3587 did not answer. First number showed as local on your search today's number showed as coming from Liverpool.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. This is an unwanted and unrequested caller who is breaking all UK regulations regarding sales calls to TPS protected numbers. The caller was called Elsie, had USA accent so number may be spoofed. Refused to confirm my I'd so caller hung up. Avoid this caller.

SCAM!! Leasing Airbnb properties (advertised on FB marketplace) that do not exist!! Cleverly they've linked their web page up to Airbnb's page so when you look for support, it will take you to the legit page, but the booking page is a complete scam! It'll reject your payment when you confirm your booking and offer you the option to do a wire transfer. The scammer will give you "Airbnb's bank details" (confirmed by an agent, Airbnb do NOT have a bank account) to place your deposit into.
I left this to go to answerphone as I don't recognise the number. The caller failed to leave a message.
