I didn’t give her any chance to enter into a sales patter but just told her that I already had a local plumber and that any thoughts of selling me of her wares was destined for failure. I get calls from this mob every few days asking me to call them and quote a reference number. I eventually decided to call them and ask who they were representing - the guy wouldn t say. I didn t quote the ref number as it all sounded way suspicious. I do not owe money to anyone, other than a dodgy parking ticket I got 4 years from a crowd of crooks running a scam in Perth. Any one else get calls due to a parking fine?

Indian chap, allegedly from Carphone Warehouse. Said I could have a 5g phone with 80Gb of data, etc., for £7 a month. Sounded too good to be true, which means it probably is, so I passed. He then complained that I had wasted his time! I guess his next move would have been to ask for my bank details! Avoid!

He was a bit confused when I said I only had Apple computers and not Microsoft and then hung up when I told him that I would refer this to Action Fraud!
