Call from this number, but put the phone down when I answered. Did not ring back but suspect it is similar to some of the other comments against 01340 numbers
Calls almost everyday - I find this harrasing and class it as cold calling. Not a number I know nor can I identify the caller. Now blocked it on my phone so it doesnt directly annoy me!

We had 7 calls in one day from this number. They first asked for confirmation of address then started asking about direct debit and bank details at which point we hung up and didn t answer further calls.

This was a recorded message from an organisation claiming to be BT, regarding the impending withdrawal of a phone and internet account with them. I have not been with BT for a few years, so this seems unlikely to me. Is it dangerous? Possibly.

SCAM Person on the phone speaking bad English claimed to be from O2 offering 50% discount off existing contacts with them hung up on the person on the phone and then made a call to O2 this isn’t a genuine offer from them
They also call from 01625342966 - claiming to be from Morgan Cooper and same response when called back, agents are busy etc. The area code is Macclesfield but there is no business by that name found in that area

Calls every Sunday at 8:30 am! Very annoying as there seems to be no way to get in touch to stop the calls! Mentioned 'Argos' at one point, but they know nothing of it. Also mentions 'Cibus' but unlikely to be them, as they are based in Hong Kong.

A man called who said he was Vodafone and then EE and offered me an outrageous deal of essentially free minutes, free data and free texts for £6 per month. I checked the vodafone website and the closest deal was £33. I suspect that this is a scam and will report.
