Recorded message received today stating that unauthorised payment of £500 taken from my debit card and sent abroad. Options given to press 1 if I knew about the transaction and to press 2 if I didn't. Ended the call without pressing any option. This njumber needs to be reported immediately and the number investigated.

THE MALE CALLER TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS MY BUSINESS NUMBER AND I WAS NOT IN CONTRACT WITH MY TELEPHONE/INTERNET PROVIDER. THIS TELEPHONE NUMBER RINGS OUT TO MY BUSINESS. WHEN I RANG MY PROVIDER THEY STATED "IT MAY BE A GHOST NUMBER" I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY DEALING WITH THIS NUMBER. THE CALLER WAS PERSISTENT AND RANG ME BACK. Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 118328xxxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Just received a text message from this number: "Your bank card has been blocked due to suspicion of fraud, please follow the link below to reactivate". No specific details etc. Pretty obvious scam - delete the message and block the number.

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Similar numbers are reported with debt management / PPI - insurance marketing and ambulance chasers / financial marketing.

apparently I was in a road accident

Automated voice reading a script saying they are from some national crime investigation unit. Saying that unless a response is given, I am liable to have my assets seized and be arrested. End of message instructs to press 1 in order to speak to an officer. Have recieved similar from other fraudulent numbers.

I have no idea to whom this number belongs to. But the message was about claiming your flight payment back. Do not reply.
