Fraud - think this is a fraud. phone call saying national insurance number is compromised and to call back to sort it out.
You might see this number if you are cooperating with certain Lettings Agencies, the one that uses Rentshield to get references for them, will probably also try to tell you that you need Liability Insurance Policy as a new Tenant. I dealt with a very transparent and honest Letting Agency and they told me that I DON T NEED Liability Policy when dealing with them. SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. I’m a cautious type, but they fooled me
