Apparently they make money on you making a return call...don't ask me how but it sort of makes sense because everyone seems to have the same response.

The person had my Christian name. He made a speculative statement that I had had a minor traffic bump within the last 2 years. I have not, so it was easy to cut the call off.

This is Clearanswer call centre Hull, orange have an external contract with them so realisticly they are working on behalf of orange. Its not a scam the promotions are genuine. Basically they do work for orange to help them out. I believe they also have a contract with Talk Talk. They ask if you have a mobile as you could change it at anytime. Call a person /persons I m assisting simply don t communicate by phone ignore, block , change number. Received voicemail saying to Call this number before things get worse problems. Immediately called back. No reply. Tried four times. No reply. Eventually was answered. Initially silence then after e a couple seconds heard what sounded like an announcement at a railway station or airport in the background then suddenly went dead. All subsequent attempts to refusal again have failed. .

They have no legal basis to chase most debts but they lie and say they have. Best ignore them, say nothing and hang up.

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn.
