had a missed call from 01793 675162 rang back to find it was a company from AEV They asked if I had a missed phone call from them, I said no - so they rung off.
Upon answering a call on the land line around 18:30 this evening, the caller hung up so out of curiosity I dialled 1471 (UK), the call back service and I pressed 3 on my phone to be put directly through to the missed call number. I didn t catch the receivers company name but heard a American or maybe Canadian Man s accent and instructions for extension required. Had quote from this company, they have made follow up calls and offer to match other quotes! Don't like that idea they shouldoffer their best deal in the first place.

Liars. computer telling me to replace my boiler (it is new). I am on the TPS so should NOT be getting these calls. DO NOT CALL BACK - DO NOT PRESS 2 - THEY ARE LIARS and probably criminals as well.
A recorded mail voice claiming to be from HMRC saying that they have a case against me and to press 1 to speak to my case officer. A definite dangerous scam. I am registered with TPS - they are definitely breaking the law.
