My advice to anyone would be, never answer to an unknown number unless it s followed by a text message. Even then you should only respond to a text if the message interests you.

Another call from an Asian lady at 6.0pm purporting to be from BT and in conjunction with Virgin Media asking if I was getting nuisance calls. Angrily I told her yes I was getting nuisance calls and hers was one of them as it interfered with my guitar lesson. I then immediately hung up. This number just called me and knew my mobile number and email address. They asked if I had authorised 7 more computers on my home network. I said I had not and the person on the line said it would be okay but we must act quickly and run through some network checks. When I said I was on an Apple device (Macbook) he immediately hung up as these devices are less vulnerable.
