This is Clearanswer call centre Hull, orange have an external contract with them so realisticly they are working on behalf of orange. Its not a scam the promotions are genuine. Basically they do work for orange to help them out. I believe they also have a contract with Talk Talk. They ask if you have a mobile as you could change it at anytime. It counts as a 5 pound discount code but it has to be registered in your name and adress - so if it doesn t show by law they have to ask! Yes the persistant calls are
I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.

Fraud Left a voicemail saying it's HMRC about a lawsuit, to call them back or have my soliciter get in touch or prepair to face the consequesnces. Blatently using a chopped-together recording. HMRC would always try to contact by post, not phone.

SCAM - calling to me once today at around 16:00 o clock about i'm on something blacklisted trading, they told me that, which is not understand to me, and what is that mean even hahaha? when i asked her about how did you proceed my data, how did you know my phone call and my name? She did not told me anything and hang up, because she knew this is a breaking GDPR law. By the way, she told me, she wanted contact with me everyday which is a pure lie.
I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.

Called me and said I had unpaid debt due to credit cards. I have never had a credit card. They put the phone down when I asked where they got my information from. I attempted to call back but there was just an engaged sound.

SCAM I don't pick up on unknown numbers so they can leave a voicemail if they are legitimate No voicemail left, after ten minutes I called the number back and this was the message : "This is an incorrect number please check and redial" So my advice, never pick up, wait for them to leave voicemail, google number and then call back if needed HTH

Supposedly a company called Direct Legal, claimed to want to talk to me about compensation for an accident. A quick google search reveals they are a debt collection agency based in Buckley, even though the phone number has a Glasgow area code.
Answered but no one spoke now blocked.

SCAM Received a text from this number supposedly from Sky. It stated they were unable to take my payment this month and my services will be stopped. It even provided a link to update my details. I haven’t had Sky since 2007 so I hope they haven’t been able to take a payment! :D Don’t click on the link, it’s not Sky; it’s a scam looking to get your bank details.
