I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

I had my Call Blocker on so the caller was put through to my answerphone. The 'message' was just several seconds of a crackling/hissing noise, then the call terminated. This is the second call received from very similar numbers in the last few days, both numbers beginning with 0161 66. As my own number also begins with 0161 66, I suspect that someone is using similar numbers in the vain hope that I'll answer. I highly suspect that it was some sort of scam

Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. This appears to be a bank scam with claims that "your visa card has been charged £500+ on an amazon purchase, and another charge as well. and to press 1 (I think) On phoning back, the number is not reccognised. Interestingly, my own phone number is 014195632xx.

Danger - this number is from a scam Norton 360 protection email. It asks you to call number if you want to cancel the new subscription you have supposedly auto renewed. Would not have worked on me as I have taken Norton 360 as it’s crap as a protection software tool. If I had I would have gone direct to the Norton rather than respond to a high lighted number in an email.
