I applied for a loan last week. Big mistake, as it seems my details have been sold on to multiple nuisances-this number being one of them. Fraud - pretended to be from Nationwide to flag fraudulent activity, rang the bank back who confirmed that nothing had been flagged on my account and no calls had been made from the bank to me.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2079460xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Indian call centre dealing with PPI, accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

For the last 2 days have had 3 calls a day which i ignore. I ignore them after the very first time i answered someone spoke the other end and then hung up! Rude. I am a very busy mum of 4 young children and do not have the time for these calls.
