Claim to be from BT regarding my Internet connexion. When I said I am not with BT the Indian voice became very agitated and starting shouting at me as though I am an idiot. I could not understand all he said but he wanted to check my Internet out. Put the phone down. Have had several missed calls from them in the last week.
Just called but did not speak before hanging up.

SHE GAVE ME MY OWN FULL NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH!!!! HOW DAMN SCARY IS THAT!!!! Called at 8.50 pm ... seriously?? Yes I do owe money on a private loan and was paying it off happily each month but then the balance got transferred to these clowns who think they can squeeze more money from me each month ..it s quite simple...i m paying you all i can manage each month ...you ll have to wait...maybe next time call me in the daytime but not when i;m sorting the kids for bed.... annoyed!

Pretending to be an insurance company interested in my "recent car accident". There has of course been no such accident.
SCAM - Caller knew my name and claimed to be from housing association. Given that others have answered and left comments after being told it is a accident claim company, it is safe to assume this is a scam.
This number called me, I didn t answer but tried to check online who it might be but was unsuccessful. I rang back the number back, it went to voicemail "Jason here, can t come to the phone blah blah. . . leave a message . I did not leave a message but rang back again & a woman answered Hi this is Andrea from Play Lottery how can I help you . I checked all the contact numbers on the Lottery website & this isn t one of them!! Does anyone know what authority to report this obvious fraudulent number to?

SCAM I don't pick up on unknown numbers so they can leave a voicemail if they are legitimate No voicemail left, after ten minutes I called the number back and this was the message : "This is an incorrect number please check and redial" So my advice, never pick up, wait for them to leave voicemail, google number and then call back if needed HTH

I believe this to be a nuisance call, My advise to others is If you have a answer machine leave a outgoing message to incoming callers saying that if this is a telemarketer or any unknown caller ringing, that this call is classed as harassment and an invasion of your privacy and that you will ignore their call". I monitor all my calls and if I don t recognize the number I just let the answer machine takeover, they never leave a message and since I have been doing this my unwanted calls have started to cease
