I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.

SCAM. I just activated my number and then 3days later (today) I've received 2seperate calls from them. One was that I'd apparently made enquiries on their WiFi broadband internet. SHE GAVE ME MY OWN FULL NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH!!!! HOW DAMN SCARY IS THAT!!!! I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.

07363953461 is a FAKE scam CLI being used by an offshore call centre. They call folks and pretend to be calling from BT, regarding error logs received from your internet connection. The idea is to ask you to download remote desktop software to gain access to your computer, then attempt to bamboozle you with made up technical nonsense whilst in the background they copy your files and internet settings in the hope that yo have stored online banking credentials.

12:23GMT 05/01/2016 - received missed call from this number and when call was returned call was cut off. It's not a number I know or use.
