All the numbers from this range 020794609xx are used by the same call centre dealing with insurance marketing - car accident. If you say you have had no accident, they mostly hang up the phone and that's it... I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.

A very strong Caribbean accented gentleman calling on what appeared to be a poor quality Internet phone line. I could not understand where he said he was calling from or on behalf of what organisation. He launched into his script and seemed unfazed by me stating that the newspaper I read was the 'Mickey Mouse Weekly' and although chuckled did not question me further when I told him my age was 155. The 'interview' continued by me giving similarly stupid answers to some questions and refusing to answer others

Fraud I am receiving calls from this number and then several times again throughout the day on 0208 but with a change in the remaining 7 numbers, I have answered the only twice and the man on the line says the name of the same company, I have demanded that they stop or I will report them but they still insist on calling again.
