My son answered the phone and passed it to me. A voice clearly stated who they were and that I was being recorded. I asked where they got my number from (as its a brand new line and I have not given it to anyone at all!)They said I was on there system as I was a customer of there s. I said I wasn t and they said I had bought an indosit washing machine. My washing machine is 8 years old and not and indosit!!! I kept saying where did you get my number from and an annoying English voice said I understand madam

Had several calls so far.... no one there when responding! Looking at previous comments maybe Currys should listen to the comments on this site, and ensure their "survey" on customer care starts with answering their customers when calling!!

Same here, calling once per day whilst abroad. Never seen number before.
A foreign speaking person (possibly of Indian origin) started with the usual stupid questions eg can you confirm your phone number (which they had obviously just dialled) when I told them they knew it as they had just dialled it, they then started asking me to confirm some personal details. When I refused to do this,they then hung up.
When answered caller, several times saying hello, there was no reply.
