Scam (Debt) kept the guy occupied for 15 mins giving him fake details from my end, he was insistant it wasnt a scam but when i questioned where he was and that i could hear bengali in the background he turned nasty calling me every bad name under the sun. if it is not a scam why get so rude. Blocked this number now, (i love wasting these guys time

TAXES / HMRC Received a recorded message from female with American accent, (similar voice to many other recorded calls threatening legal action). It purported to be from HMRC and legal proceedings have been instituted against me. Told me to press button 1 for further information. This is DANGEROUS THREATENING BOGUS CALL. DO NOT PRESS BUTTON 1 AS IT ALLOWS CALLER ACCESS TO YOUR PHONE.

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. Internet Someone called allegedly from BT to say my internet was slow. I said “goodbye” and put the phone down
Foreign gentleman said he was ringing about any internal house problems that I have that the council arn't doing anything about - I asked what did they council have to do with that surely they are my responsibility - he repeated himself but added about Council or Housing Association tenants - when it dawned on him that I might be a Homeowner he said 'Oh' and hung up
Recorded message saying from my bank's fraud department, I didn't listen to any more as would have expected a real voice if it was actually from fraud dept
