I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! I am glad to let the world know that when you see this number it is not worth picking up. Just leave it & let it ring! I wonder how much their phone call expenses are? saw this missed call so did internet search. comes up as removals company in Chorlton Park. called the number wondering if they had a delivery I have missed. computerised female voice says "goodbye" and ends the call. number now blocked.
Fraud - Person is saying that he is representing Smart Trading, then asking about all personal details and asking to create a web account under their supervision.
SCAM / SPAM Automated message claiming to be HMRC saying I have an outstanding fraud case against my name and I would shortly be arrested if I didn't press one. I pressed one and told a man with an South East Asian accent that HMRC HQ is in London, not Bradford which he obviously didn't like because he hung up.

Called me today, knew my name. Started telling me that I was in debt and that they have a scheme blah blah blah, rambled on for ages and the finally asked if it was something I was interested in. To which I told him that I don't have any debt and it sounds like b*llsh*t to me. "so you have just wasted my time." was his comment and he hung up on me.

This number has been making numerous calls today before 8am. It alternates with a private caller saying they are from Virginmedia. I have checked with the company who have no record of any calls being made to me. Annoying maybe dangerous.

Filled in a form on line for number of nuisance calls I received they replied said they would ring and number would begin 02921 so I new I could answer it. They advised me I was on numerous cold call lists I new this ad I get dozens of calls per day. Asked foir a fee of ?49.99 to remove me from all of these lists. I do hope I have not been conned ad I m a pensioner and cannot afford to be loosing this sort of money.

My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. Just looking at new insurance for home and car .. I didn t answer phone, but called back, asking what they want. They are following up on my on line quotes.
SCAM Recording of a lady with a pleasant voice told me that my phone and internet connection was to be cut off due to suspected criminal activity on my provider's service. Asked me to press button 1 to speak to someone. Didn't of course. Reported it to BT instead

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily.
