Answered call and voice identified himself as Energy advisor in area and asking to confirm as householder. Feeling polite, I responded yes but do not entertain cold calls and asked to end call. The voice continued making me believe it is voice-activated and not to be trusted. I put the phone down.

Fraud Purports to be from o2. A long and somewhat believable spiel about a phone being ordered on the account that gradually ramps up until they start asking for personal information. When challenged, he hung up.
This is a SCAM pretending to be HMRC Tax Fraud Office. they tried very hard to intimidate me but failed, do not be fooled HMRC doesn't work this way. don't press 1

I was out but hey left an automated message saying suspicious activity on my bank account, listing some of them. Then 'Press 1' to cancel these payments etc etc. Typical scam and definitely might catch some people out. I deleted the message.

Wanted to discuss a car accident where the claim had been settled but was very vague with incorrect information
Possible Scam. Asked for me by name, then spoke quickly in Indian accent, I couldn't understand, they hung up.
