SCAM Stay away from this number he’s very charming and polite then begs for money. Pretending to be a doctor working abroad and needs money to finish a contract.
would not say exactly why he was calling, would not leave a number, kept talking about charges on an investment but wouldn t elaborate. I m a PA and he did not like me challenging him for more info .. he just wanted to be put through to our managing partner. Referenced a call last week (which did not happen!!!).
SCAM- computer voice telling me its HMRC and this is a final attempt to contact me. My NI number will be cancelled if I don’t call the number. Funny as I had the same message last month so hardly a final attempt. Ignore and block.
Googled number. It s Laithwaites trying to flog me wine, apparently.
