Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!

SCAM Indian call centre called claiming to be BT and said that my WiFi was being used illegally by other people without my knowledge. They even sent me texts and emails on legitimate BT numbers and email addresses. This company keep calling, maybe 3-4 times a day always asking for someone who doesn t live here but as soon as I ask to speak to supervisor or say they have a wrong number they hang up. I m close to disconnecting the landline it is such a nuisance!!

Why do I get these calls
I receive a text to say I ve missed their call, (i.e. every time they call!). Thing is, there was no call only the text message. I can confidently say that because my mobile had been in my pocket for 2hrs they hadn t called. Neither had they called on my landline, I ve been in all day.
