I called back to get an automated message saying its a marketing call so I just blocked it :)
Automated called claiming to be from HMRC. Stated there was an outstanding claim against me, and if I didn't 'press 1' I would soon be arrested !!
Today s ruse as had differing reasons for calls from these scammers fishing for personnel details!-Is hearing compo co.Never worked I this industry/make claims/or do business on phone! They obtain & MIS use my ex directory/TPS registered no.illegally! & obviously their press no.9 opt out option is a conn to-as pressed loads b4-Shut these bas#ards down! Prosecute to hilt!
tried selling me "extra good sim card", claiming to be from VM, didnt go through the tpical VM log in [you now enter various digits of passcode with keypad, NOT by voice], poor english, noisy line, they have phoned three times in the last two days from the same numer, I have now blocked their call.

Just called my mobile. I didn t answer but checked the number online 01225 282329 to see who they were. Found this website and comments. Called them from a landline, immediately explained to person who answered that I d received a missed call, that I d checked them up online and didn t want any further calls, and to remove my mobile number from their calling list. The man who answered was responsive immediately, polite and asked for my mobile number. Fingers crossed ....
