This is tfl but beware if you try and call them back on your regular number you will be subjected to the answerphone from HELL. Expect pointless long menu options, with your choice most certainly last, expect pointless interruption messages in an ultra slow voice, and lastly, expect to be on hold with a message that makes it sound like someone has cut through the hold music to pick up your call.
So hilarious today. They rang and yet again asked for "Susan" - still haven t worked out how to change that in their system (probably waiting for me to tell them my name - more chance of me flying to the moon by myself). So I said "no-one here called that" (knew it was them because they are the only people that ask for Susan) so he starts with his script (why it never changes I have no idea). They have called a number of times. They have either asked if I'm on the computer or just disconnected the call when I answer. It is usually a woman of Indian origin.
SCAM, HMRC SCAM, ROBOCALL: "Hello, Her Majesty revenue and customs. This call is to inform you that there is a tax fraud case registered under your name. You have to press 1 to get connected to the officer of HMRC. If in case you don't press one and your call is not connected to us then the warrant will be issued under your name straight away and you will get arrested shortly." DO NOT PRESS 1, HANG UP!!!!
