Guy purporting to be from’ car phone warehouse company’. Could hardly understand what he was saying - when I queried what he wanted, he hung up.
Fraud re. electricity bill, pretending they are your supplier.
Prenteded representative of letting company and collected personal details.

SCAM using a private telephone number when you call back a poor lady answers saying it’s a scam

+44 7486 464689 This number is a scammer - they send a text saying … “ hey mum I smashed my phone and I'm using a friends phone to msg you their phone is about to die, can you whatsapp me on 07789175547” The top number is based in Russia - the other number in the UK. Do not reply, block both numbers as they are a Russian scammer . I tried calling both numbers from a withheld number and they are both off. DO NOT ADD THEM ON WHATSAPP! DO NOT REPLY TO THEM!
Silent call rang my mobile on WhatsApp. A picture of a young woman with long dark hair appeared - don’t know her, no name. Rang x2 but she hung up after it rang a couple of times. I’ve blocked the number. Sure it’s a scam of some type.

Claims to be from Virgin Media asking for outstanding bill. Checked with Virgin. It is a con.

DON'T GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION NOR CONFIRM ANYTHING THEY ASK YOU ABOUT AND NEVER EVER TELL YOUR BANK DETAILS. NEVER GIVE YOUR DATE OF BIRTH (and never use a true d.o.b. on social media websites - always use a false date of birth when signing up if pressed for your d.o.b. on those sites).

Fraud He made me fall in love with him. Told me he had a £370,000 contract in Turkey to sign. But, after checking out the hotel (how did he pay the bill) had an accident on way to airport. And wanted me to pay the hospital bill and flights home. Mind you he was a businessman. Who would go abroad without their credit/debit cards and travel insurance. But he paid his hotel bill funny that. Met him on PoF Paulmy72 finding love and torso of a man got nowt from me. . Then told me I was a waste of
Scammer. Tried to sell me a Vodafone contract and wasn't affiliated with Vodafone at all.
