Quite likely spam call I answered but didn’t speak cut off
I think this might actually be a valid Co-op number. I say that because: 1. I tried to make some credit-card payments while abroad, but they were declined. 2. This number called my mother to check the payments. 3. When my mother confirmed with them that the payment attempts were valid, my card started working again! But I cannot 100% confirm. My mother actually received three calls over the weekend. Sadly this number is not shown on the Co-op website. So it's difficult to verify.
Claimed to be the bank. Wanted me to press options to cancel unauthorised transactions.

Number shown was a 01189 local number so i picked it up. No answer and the it hung up. Dialed 01471 to retieve number but, it actually was 018731006? meaning this was a scam caller.
TAXES / HMRC, automated voice saying I'm being investigated for tax evasion
When I answered the phone there was a digital female voice informing me that there had been two charges against my credit card for £300 to amazon at which point I hung up. Definitely a scam
Scam : This number called to let me know about winning £1000 towards Center Parks break. Female asked for bank details where money can be paid but when I requested to call me back because I needed to check my details she hang up.
Rang today 5.21pm. Didn’t introduce themselves or leave a message. Not in my phone book. Calling it scam. Now blocked.
Highly organised fraudsters claiming to be from PayPal....very convincing. Very dangerous.
Nuisance. Called saying I had unsecured debt and I had to tell her exactly what it was and amounts. Block this number

Automated voice from Bank Security claiming my card had been used to make large payments. A scam!

01224531095 called me and was the employment agency (Traill/McKimmie Recruitment Ltd) which I work through. When you call this number back, you get the reception desk.
