This unknown number called and opened the connection to my phone and headset. Claimed to be from HMRC about to take legal action unless I selected an option. A scam and immediately cut call. SCAM

Someone somewhere was or is being scammed by some fake investment groups and it is sad, this experience is harder than many people think. Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.
