Female with American accent spoke asking how I was etc but hung up when I asked what company she was ringing from. Sounded exactly the same as a call from 0161 814 1203?
gentleman phoned obviously from a carousel system, claimed to be from BT could not understand him, requested he repeat what he said he hung up. Be VERY WARY.

Second time today, missed the first one. Scammer using local area code (Yes!) and heavy accent (Indian sub-continent) trying to get me to pay him to block unwanted calls. Let him run through his blurb twice (my hearing is bad!) then asked him would it also block him. He swore and hung up. They're getting very devious, using local area codes to bypass the international number block on my phone!
