SCAM These calls are coming from far away place speaking using broken English, It sounds like something like an Indian accent. These thugs should be stopped using UK landline numbers from abroad as it is a means to extort cash.

SCAM received phone call this morning in the form of a recorded message purporting to be from the Fraud Office, although which bank wasn’t stated, advising that a charge of £300 and an international payment of over £1000 had been made to my account. Asked me to ring a given number if the charges were not mine. Hung up and called my bank using the number on the back of my bank card to ensure the call was genuine. Upon speaking to the Bank they confirmed that the initial call was NOT from the bank.
SPAM was called from London by an Indian man who insisted he was my network provider and then asked who was? I wouldn't tell him so he again insisted he was my O2 network provider to which I replied "no you're not!" he hung up, have now blocked this number
