This was a scam number claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently, they asked for card details before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.

SCAM. Automated message, pretending to be HMRC - threatening fines & convictions if you don't speak to an operator.

I received a recorded message from this number, a robotic voice informed me that there were unusual transactions on my bank card and two amounts were mentioned. Then I was asked to press 1 to check the details of the purchase, I did not press any response button, but deleted the message and checked on this facility. It seems to be a scam trying to make contact with my account.

Fraud They said I had £87K in a cryptocurrency account with them ('Blockchain Support') I've never invested in crypto, so it must be some sort of phishing scam. I think they got my name and number via the June 2023 data breech at BBC etc.

Supposedly Amazon Customer Services recorded message call saying a £700 order quoting a fictitious order number has been frozen, press 1 to cancell the order.

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.

4 Scam. Received a text supposedly from EE saying they've given me extra points, the points will expire in 3 working days and to click the link to claim them. I clicked the link because the text looked genuine. Upon clicking the link it stated I had 5400 points. All the items were cheap looking and cost £0.1+5000points. SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.
