Fake caller pretending to be a hmrc and claiming there was tax fraud investigation and if I didn't answer I would arrested promptly, I pressed 1 and a person answered saying how can I help you today, this therefore told me straight away it was a scam as why does a hmrc officer need to ask me how they can help me if they called me. Don't continue with the unless you want to mess them around.

These people are from a company called Ultimate Contact Solutions. The only reason they are calling you is to get you to call back (money making) and to confirm a contact number is active so they can sell it on. SCAM / HARRASSING Very thick Indian accent, supposedly calling from "the technical department". They hung up when I questioned how they got my phone number. They've phoned six times this morning and I had to physically unplug my phone to get it to stop.
