Have been receiving weekly text messages to urgently call 0345 0783219 as there remains a problem with my account with SSE. Today the latest message was to call them Today on the same no and quote reference 358879541. I decided to check SSE's contact nos and none of these were this one. I became suspicious which proved to be true after reading other people's similar experience. How can such scums do this and get away . I answered three times before caller hung up. I have no known connections in that area. I receive several similar calls but usually hung up immediately.

Some bloke called me at half past 10 saying i had hit his car and had left a note on his car. Baring in mind this number is from London and i live over an hour and a half away from london, and i am currently not driving at the moment, i find this very hard for me to have hit his car. He was quite aggressive down the phone, swearing and expecting me to pay for the damage. I then said could you read out the note and he hung up.
