I received two calls in quick succession from different mobile numbers, but when checking on in this site they were both located in the same part of the country, near Manchester. I don’t know anyone in that part of the country, so I’m assuming that they are both from a call Center that has someone got hold of my number ????
Beware just had a call from overseas sounding voice, telling me my computer is at risk and running slowly ......... thanked him and said yes I know the aliens from Mars are in the computer, that worked he hung up

Beware this is a scammer. Tried to get £840 for a replacement phone from me by pretending to be one of my children. Has been reported online.

This number is connected to a computer security con – ignore and block. The Company name they give is non-existent – Web Security Global. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. They have been reported to Trading Standards and to the Police.

Called this number back & she claimed to be from HMRC who apparently have served me with two warrants around miscalculation of Tax. They apparently called at my home on two occasions during lockdown when I was home and not allowed to leave me house. She was very plausible, giving me a name, badge number and warrant ref numbers.
