Hung up as soon as answered. Recognised as Edinburgh number so assumed genuine.

If they call you from number they are not TalkTalk. It is a scam and they have hacked your account. Put the phone down, call TalkTalk and cancel your subscription as this is their fault. Seek legal advice regarding compensation for any losses incurred.

I had a call from a private number saying about my First Direct account. When I challenged it, the guy (Anthony) rang me back from the number on the back of the card 0345 710010...
This is a number used by scammers
Called saying I might be eligible for a bank refund and asking if I had any outstanding loans. They called a mobile number that is only 3 weeks old that no one has so I knew straight away it was spam. Blocked
