Another firm using a local number to call from Liverpool about ?an accident? I didn?t ever have in my car!
Said they were from some crime team
Black pearl claims trying to sell PPI refund or accident compensation service.

SCAM call saying it was from BT and that my landline was going to be cut off
Knew everything about company inc. number of staff and M.D. name. Asked to confirm that all details were still correct. Then asked for permission to pass on to "specially selected third parties", when I said no he tried to sell that it would be industry specific and very helpful. I explained that as a 30 year old business we consider ourselves fairly savvy when it comes to insurance and utilities!
The number belongs to Haart Estate Agents. Not sure why the called me, when they did and I answered it sounded like the phone was dialling another number.
Went to answer machine but they never said anything, just coughed. Very strange !
