SCAM! Caller talked to my husband (he didn't get our name quite right) and said he could reduce amount we pay for TV insurance - we do not have TV insurance! Husband played...
Fraud - this was an automated call supposedly from HMRC, which said that there was a tax fraud case in my name and unless I pressed 1 and speak to the officer overseeing the case. If I didn't, there would be a warrant issued and I would be arrested shortly. This is disgusting - what if it had gone to a vulnerable or confused person. It didn't mention my name, but if someone is frightened enough that will not register.
