Caller asked for the home owner and said it was not a sales call. the company did have our surname but did not ask to speak to Mr or Mrs......... When I asked how they got our number (ex-directory) they just put the phone down.
KEEP CALLING AND WHEN I ANSWER PHONE THERE IS NO REPLY FROM THE CALLER OR THEY ASK TO SPEAK TO OWNER OF THE BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT STATE WHO THEY ARE OR WHAT THEY WANT. THIS HAPPENS AT LEAST 4 - 5 TIMES PER WEEK.

SCAM - potential Fraud Caller advises of an unusual purchase on your Amazon Prime account - in this instance £1049 - and asks for either confirmation (respond button 1) or query (respond button 2) . Curiously they refer to a card payment with "your usual payment card" and give no confirmation such as last 4 digits. Has all the makings of seeking to get you to part with bank/credit card details. Fraud scam. Scam insurance crash call. The call operator was obviously very new at this. Fumbled and stumbled his way through the script in barely understandable “Hind-lish”. I stopped him and told him he was really terrible at this game, should stop now, he’s not cut out to be another sh*tty scammer. Told him his parents would be ashamed of him. He apologised and cut the call.
This number has rung each day for the last 3 days but there is no one there...it holds on for about 10 seconds then cuts off.
