More accident nonsense.

My son answered the phone and passed it to me. A voice clearly stated who they were and that I was being recorded. I asked where they got my number from (as its a brand new line and I have not given it to anyone at all!)They said I was on there system as I was a customer of there s. I said I wasn t and they said I had bought an indosit washing machine. My washing machine is 8 years old and not and indosit!!! I kept saying where did you get my number from and an annoying English voice said I understand madam

Reports on other sites suggest it s about Amazon delivery.

Said they were from the Internal Revenue Service and that there was a warrant for "your arrest". No names.

I only answered this as it was a local number. Obviously a way of getting calls answered. Woman was not local and asking about hearing damage! Another one to block!

These people are from a company called Ultimate Contact Solutions. The only reason they are calling you is to get you to call back (money making) and to confirm a contact number is active so they can sell it on. If you are unlucky enough to answer and stupid enough to ring back they then pump you for your details, and if able to other family members details so they can sell your details at a higher price and get an extra sale from your family s details. Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Repeated calls, cut off when I answer or my answermachine cuts in. Google the number, you ll see many forums are complaining that this number is that of Business Census , and it s data-gathering for resale. Calls border on harassment. Complained to BT and TPS.

Lady called, knew my name and address, very noisy line, said I would be getting letter in post and that I was due a refund on credit card. I asked what credit card and she couldn t answer just asked if I d had a credit card before 2009 I said no and she hung up!
