Rings around 7.20 to 7.30am, saying they are from my internet service provider, and my router is faulty, and they need me to make some tests etc. When I said so you are calling from Talktalk then he said yes. I am not with Talktalk!! DANGEROUS.

After dozens of missed calls from this number - I never answer a number I do not recognise - I rang back the 0207 number and got a recorded message with another number to call to unsubscribe - 0207 619 7888. You need to quote the number they ve called you on and tell them it s Shelter, as they re obviously a telemarketing company with a number of clients. I donated to Shelter by text and since then have been plagued by these calls at all hours. Waiting to see if they re as good as their word...
