This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 12149607xx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with car accident chasers, insurance claims. People did they call you with something new, new scope?

Looks like an attempted scam, pretending to be from OpenReach. spun some line about "slow internet speed" but wants access to "configure your router" and other details about your home computer/laptop. Strong Indian accent, highly suspicious. They hung up when I said I would access my router and check the config data myself rather than "let them configure it (remotely)"

Young man went straight into reading a script about how insurance regulations have changed and they could save me money - he was very fast and unclear/mumbled speech. I asked him to take my number off their database and he was quite rude asking why I wouldn't want to save money. He finally just muttered something and then hung up.
