Had a couple of calls from this number recently to inform me of the dangers of the internet and advising me to access a website (from which malware would presumably be downloaded to my computer). When pressed,, the caller claimed to be working for checkhelponline . I m sure it s a scam.

When my father had been saying he was fed up with unwanted/nuisance phone calls he was initially pleased when he was called (out of the blue) by NCPS who offered to solve all his problems for a single cost of ?84.99! However for this cost he would have been getting no more than he is legally entitled to get for FREE through other sources. The std code does not exist. This would have been a scam call, the answer phone captured the number, the caller left no details
Fraud Feb 1st, 15:25pm. A recorded script claiming a problem with my National Insurance number and to press 1 to avoid it being suspended! I just hung up. Same call received next day from different mobile number 07702283675 at 10:00. The Gov.uk would not contact this way.
