Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. They were very nice at 1st & careful to explain how they wanted my bank details, (not a debit/credit card) & that that is safe, (I discovered that it's true), but they were very, very, insistent, determined & wouldn't take no for an answer! Banking SCAM This scam starts with a fake text from mobile number 075344277566 or any other mobile. The fake text explains that a certain amount of money has been paid at a filling station from your account (account details not present). The text asks you if it was you and says text back with Y or N. A text is sent back to tell you an agent will call you back shortly. This number rings: 01316189380. Ignore and treat as totally bogus and with extreme suspicion. This is a toxic SCAM!
Automated call Banking SCAM, £2000 charge to Amazon account, requesting a call to confirm.
SCAM - rang back a lady answered claiming she never called and her phone doesn't have credit or get used
